Filemaker intergration with iOS

We can integrate a Filemaker project with iOS app in several ways.

FileMaker Go is a App for iPad and iPhone allow users to view, edit, and search for FileMaker Pro records on the iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch.

File Sharing

1.Sharing the file:

Choose File menu > Sharing > sharing with FileMaker Client

2. Click the Network Sharing on

3.Select the file which you want to share

4. Select the Network access privileges

Choose To

All users Provide access to anyone who has

the TCP/IP address or domain name

of the file.

Specify users by Allow select users access to the privilege set FileMaker Go.

No users prevent any user from accessing

the FileMaker File

How to use the FileMaker Go

1.Open the FileMaker Go app in the ios device

2.Click on the Host

3.Add the Host IP Address and Name

4.Save thr Address and Name

5.Click the saved Host Address

3.Then you can see the shared file

open the file you can add records into the database but you can’t change the layout and can’t add the new scripts into the shared file we just add the new records into database and see the all records available in the database.
